About your Author:
After many years of working in the IT/IS Industry, I’ve decided to quit and return to school… full-time. Although, it’s fun being the oldest student in class, it also means I am forced to mentor the younger gumdrop script kiddies that spill themselves all over the computer labs.

When not in class, I’m usually completing consulting gigs to keep the roof-over-my-head and the water running. I enjoy taking long war walks on the beach and riding pwnies. When I’m not fighting flaming, malware-infested machines or performing autopsies on blitzed boxes, I can usually be found hanging with my friends and family, bouncing a Rockstar drink on one knee and balancing a ultra portable laptop on the other.

I don’t get get flu-shots
I find xkcd web comics extremely funny.
I own and often use a Pringles can antenna to “borrow” your WiFi when I’m out of town.

Please note: I certainly don’t consider myself the “king of the hacker elite.” While I definitely enjoy being extremely extroverted in my attention, and noticing all sorts of details and peculiarities in the world around me, I do not believe that such a tendency is exclusively meritorious or inherently superior. I work around many people who do not share this cognitive style but are intelligent, insightful people who have taught me a lot. Please don’t take the observations here as belittling people who don’t share my natural fascination with the things in the world. That would be much different than my intention… and then things end up going a wee bit Pete Tong.
